Well, I suppose so, although I'm not too happy with 3/25 total slots. I bet we will do much better next year.
I do think Karlie got a little slighted, although she had an honorable mention. It is hard to make the case for honors on the basis of lots of intangibles, I suppose, such as drawing good defenders to her and thus taking the pressure off of others. Plus we have been playing a deeper rotation, which lessons the stats for those who are playing.
Most of the choices are hard to argue with, although I might question that both the ASU guards deserved this over Karlie? And Kaylee and Lili were honorable mentions on defense but Lili in particular ought to have been ahead of Canada on defense.

US.C's Cheryl Miller got Player of the Century, but we nearly got half of the roster: 8/18.
For guards, Jennifer Azzi (her years were mistakenly listed as 2011-15), Candice Wiggins, Kate Starbird, Sonja Henning and Molly Goodenbour.
For forwards/centers, we had Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike and Nicole Powell.
Notable that Jayne Appel was left off the list, but considering the list, it was a hard decision.

Interesting that all our guards but Candice (and, apparently Azzi) were prior to 2000 and all our forwards/centers have been since 2000.
