The number two story is "Stanford's McCaffrey sets NCAA mark for yardage"
The number one story?
"Henry breaks Herschel's mark in Bama triumph"

The Voldemort is dead to me. McCaffrey will probably finish second. Toby couldn't win because he didn't play on a top 15 team (or so they said). Luck didn't put up gaudy numbers. McCaffrey puts up all-world numbers and basically carries a team that will be #6 tomorrow. I don't know what else he can do. A beauty pageant.

We are going to be #5 tomorrow.

No, an SEC/Alabama pageant. Henry gets 189 yds on 44 carries. Big whoop. I don't know the stats but someone here does; if McCaffrey gets 44 carries what is his yardage? Then, add in receiving, passing, kick returns. Just a joke.

Yes. Voldemort is a beauty contest, and I don't care. C-Mac is incredible, and was the highlight of tonight's game. Threw for a TD, ran for a TD, caught a pass for a TD... how do you top that?

As I commented in another post, one of the ESPN broadcasters of the game and Voldemort voter, said this was the first time all season he's had a chance to watch McCaffery on tape. Disappointingly, it's the second time he's called a Stanford game. Just pathetic.

I had a ""waking dream" this morning about the game. McCaffrey Rudd for over 200 and had over 400 APY. I didn't see the 100+ receiving or the winner of the game.

I think we need to beat Northwestern and then we can pop off.

I think it's very possible that people guilt themselves into voting for McCaffrey. I mean who can honestly vote for anyone else when they truly consider how many things CMac does and the records he's broken. Even Alabama fans would give it to CMac.

No, they won't. They likely didn't bother to watch. This isn't a fair vote.

Darrin Nelson was one of the others who did it, against Washington State in 1980 -- 202 rushing, 167 receiving.

Much as I love Darrin, did he throw a touchdown pass while doing that? :)

This isn't what he said. He said it was his first time calling a Stanford game this year, and he watched tape as part of his preparation for this game. After all, how could this be the first time he's watched McCaffrey if this is the second Stanford game he's worked?

The Voldemort says that it considers character. Christian's interview with the sideline reporter after the game says a lot about his. She asked him if he realized that he had run for a TD, thrown for a TD and had a TD reception, and his instant response was, "So did Kevin Hogan."
He's an Academic All-American. Does the Voldemort mention academics as part of it winner's accomplishment. Probably not. It probably should.
Finer young men you simply could not identify than Toby, Andrew and Christian. It defies imagination the intense bounty they have bestowed upon Stanford, and yet it's real. It makes me want to be a better man.

I'm sure he said this is the second time he'd called a Stanford game, and it's the first time I've watched him on tape. Perhaps he called the Northwestern game, and had no tape to see from this season. Either way, if you're a Voldemort voter shouldn't you watch tape on all the candidates?

Watching the 11PM Sportscenter. They cover 3 of the conference championship games. Then they flip over the covering the Warriors game. Guess which CCG they didn't cover to start the hour?

Character? Cam Newton won the Voldemort the year he apparently auctioned himself to the highest bidder. I want our guy to win but I don't hold out much hope.

McCaffrey's accomplishments speak for themselves, and winning or not winning the Voldemort isn't going to change that.
