But Florida just took the lead against Alabama 7-2 on a punt return for a TD. They gave up the safety on a blocked punt through the back of the end zone and have also had a FG blocked.Â
It's only the second quarter, but Florida doesn't look as overmatched as everyone expected. Go Gators!

Was my post somehow offensive to the woofing gods? Since I started this thread Bama has scored 10 unanswered and now leads 12-7. I'm not sure how the Bama receiver caught that long pass into double coverage.Â

Don't blame yourself, you haven't offended the woofing gods. Florida simply has no offense, as has been evident for about a month now.

With Bama getting the win, our only chance of the playoff is if Clemson loses.
If Clemson loses and we sneak into the playoffs at #4, our playoff game would be vs #1 Bama.
Bama looking really tough in this game vs. Florida. Great defense, brobdingnagian guys on offense, lots of power runs.Â

Regarding another key game: just from a distance, the Iowa/MSU game looks awful. But I am so glad Iowa lost. I look at their schedule and really don't see a single, truly high-quality win. At least MSU has now beaten UM, tOSU, and Iowa. IMO Iowa was a fraud, and I'm very, very happy they won't stink up the playoff.Â
I assume we will get tOSU in the Rose Bowl, but it might also be pleasurable to take apart Iowa on national TV.Â

I can't believe UNC got robbed by the refs on a ridiculous offsides call on an onside kick. That was our last chance at a playoff, stolen away. Reddit is going crazy about one of the worst calls of the year. There wasn't a UNC player within 1 yard of the line.Â
