Seriously I hope we find out Tuesday what Shuler is referring to - and I hope he will be OK on Saturday.
Funny, I noticed that on a couple of plays - Redrum - 11-29-2015
What did I notice? He moved to the right places but didn't seem to decisively dispose of his man. This was an unscientific poll based on whatever replays had him in frame. And, of course, a pretty good team showed up to play us. But he didn't seem like the road grader highlighted in previous games. Just my impression.

He was going up against an All-American. Schuler's tweet indicates he must have been injured in some way. We did run to the right much more than to the left after the first couple of series, which indicates that he couldn't beat his man, or was injured, or both. Hope he can recover for SC

Or that they wanted Garnett pulling into the hole, where his devastation seems to be at its greatest.

One thing I noted on the TV before the start was a graphic that ESPN put up regarding ND and LSJU players who were in their 2016 NFL draft Top 50 projections. Josh was our only one at #48. ND had FIVE and at 2-3 of them were in ND's front 7. Our whole OL did a great job yesterday considering the circumstances, and I just think that Graham is just pointing out his unique and respected view from center that Josh was a massive key to our win.

"what @IamJoshG played through yesterday." Sure makes it sounds like Garnett was battling through injury or some personal tragedy.

Here is his equally cryptic reply...

That's not that cryptic of a reply. He's a senior and it was his last home game.
Curious to know what he was playing through tho... injury or tragedy.
Or maybe Shuler is just overplaying the last senior home game thing...

To me the term "warrior" indicates he was playing through some kind of significant injury. Will know more Tuesday.

He went into the tunnel during the last ND drive of the first half, before the rest of the team. But he came back out with everyone else to start the second half.

I only remember seeing him pull to the right a couple times, although I wasn't counting. Usually we run to the left behind him as our bread and butter.

I'm guessing it was either a cold/flu or injury. He got beat a few times that I can remember, but I presume (with all earnestness) he was his all-star self the other times I didn't notice. ND has a load of healthy bodies upfront that our OL cannot practice against. What a guy.
