Don't look now, but...... - JohnR34231 - 11-08-2015

.......the Ducks think they're back (or at least close to it).

While I'll take any win, it would be nice to burst that bubble with a convincing victory next Saturday.

Sorry, floats.  You can't claim you have arrived after playing your best game of the season against the at best 9th best team in the conference.  Ca.l is known for melting as the season goes on.  Oregon's D is very porous. Stanford will score 40+ on the Ducks and hold them under 40, maybe even 30.

And yet...

I'm nervous about the game.

It's football, any team can win any game. It's why you play them, and it's why every fan with a lick of sense is nervous about every game.

Aaaand it's a rivalry game...and struggles aside the Ducks are team not to be taken lightly.  I have faith in our team but am still nervous about the game.  I'll be there to pull for my Cardinal!

If you are nervous about playing Oregon, how the hell do you think Stanford can beat Notre Dame?  Stanford will beat Oregon by 10+ or it will have no chance vs. Notre Dame.

We also should've beaten WSU by 10+. In 2007 USC should've beaten us by 20+. Weird shit happens sometimes.

Been forever since we lost to an unranked team on our turf.

It's an ideal matchup for McCaffrey, who thirves on making LBs and DBs whiff, which the Ducks do more than anyone we play.  If the game follows form, the Mac and Voldemort noise is going to get louder.

If our guys play Stanford football, they'll win by more than a TD.

I think my nervousness comes from Andrew Luck called our "Oregon problem."

But this isn't the same Oregon. But its still Oregon.  :-\

Stanford solved its Oregon problem in 2012 & 2013 - after Luck left

Sure, but some of us still suffer from PTSDuck.

The guys in cardinal and red uniforms had better show up.  They didn't in week 1 and they almost didn't in Pullman...!  Count me in as kinda nervous but resolute.
