Ouch, that's a big loss for Trojans (I've stopped adding a "the" because the autocorrect feature works better with an article).  I do hope he's ok.  I wonder if Helton will put Adoree Jackson in the offense more.

Anyone notice that he looked more like a head coach than the two who preceded him?  Odds U.SC gives him the job?

Inversely proportional to his competence.

Sure?  Compare to his predessors.  I hope they screw up again, but at least he offers sober stability .

If Helton wins the south, then maybe (I'd guess like 50-50). If he doesn't then I don't think there's much chance. Especially because in that scenario they'll have just lost to UCLA yet again.

Not if Utah wins out.  USC could win out and wind up a game behind the Utes in the South.

True, I should've added "probably" because I think Utah likely drops one of their remaining games. Though it's hardly a murderer's row, Washington will give them trouble and UCLA might even be favored, while Arizona has a puncher's chance and Colorado, well they field a football team.

One of the two that preceded him was himself.
He looks very similar.

What does a head coach look like?

Well, he won the only game he previously coached, you know who I meant, and a head football coach likes more like him than his two full-time predessors.
