Breakout game for Irwin tonight? - OutsiderFan - 10-15-2015
Those who follow this stuff closely were probably aware Trent Irwin would be Stanford's best route runner as soon as he got on campus. Well, after this bye week, and having a chance to get into a few games already, this would seem to be the game Trent Irwin makes a real splash. He had 4 catches for 53 yards against Arizona, so it seems he is ramping up.
Anyone else feel similarly?

I thought Irwin would have his first five-catch game by game seven or eight. Here we are!

Trent Irwin game by game:
vs NU: 0 catches, 0 yards
vs UCF: 1 catch, 10 yards
vs U$C: 2 catches, 21 yards
vs OSU: 0 catches, 0 yards (1 tackle on INT that bounced off him)
vs US: 4 catches, 53 yards
Pretty good trend line.
Without the OSU game I would be fully confident to predict 8 catches vs the Bruins.

I'm biased, but I think the Tight Ends rule the day/night versus UCLA. Cajuste usually makes some great catches against the baby bears as well! Heck, let them all shine tonight. I'm just hoping Hogan plays as well or better than he did against UCLA last year! Can't wait!
