Any one know this? - OutsiderFan - 10-12-2015

When listening to the Stanford radio broadcast I believe it was, of the Arizona game, one of the broadcasters said there was some giant percentage of Stanford students at the game.  Anyone have any idea how many?  I thought it was like 80-90% but need corroboration to shut up a non-believer Ca.l fan about it.

I was at the game in the student section, it was full.

Not sure what you mean by 'giant percentage of students at the game' though.

~7,000 undergrads alone.  I don't think there are that many seats in the red zone.  Plus I'd say a good 25-33% of the red zone is grad students and alums who sit by their friends (like me :)

What's the big deal?  UCB is finally fielding a decent team (for now), but the last home game at Memorial was not sold out.    Cal has more than 27,000 undergrads!  I'm guessing that as a percentage of undergrad population, Stanford had bigger numbers.

The announcer probably just did 5k/7k to get the percentage then.
