Mike Tyler? - OutsiderFan - 10-01-2015
Last night I continued re-watching the second half of the OSU game to focus on Jordan Watkins. He didn't appear to do anything particular bad or good, which on balance is good I guess, but I also noticed Mike Tyler at the end of the game. He seemed to show flashes of someone who should play more because he seems to have a knack for pass rushing.
When Tyler was in, he was getting a good punch into the Tackle and avoiding hands on him. He also flashed what his high school video showed, a guy who really pursues the QB, as he took down Collins - fast QB - from behind.
Anyone have any insight or opinion on if Mike Tyler might get some more snaps as a dedicated pass rusher?

I thought Mike Tyler really stood out in the spring game a couple of years ago, so I'm glad to see him do good things in a real game. No idea as to if he will show up more this season.

He's the first (and only) sub listed on the depth chart at OLB, so it's reasonable to think he'll get a bunch of snaps again this week. Barring something unexpected, I imagine that'll be the case until Anderson is back.Â

Early experience is great when it can be had. Good for him, putting the heat on U$C!
