Speights is listed at 200 and looks it. He's built Ford tough.Â
There are many options with all these RBs, but I would not be at all surprised to see Stephens play safety in college. I think he may even prefer that position. I think Bisharat is partial to RB, but he was recruited by many at LB, so that's an option if necessary. I am not sure if any of these guys can play WR, but if so, then that is where they are needed most.

Thanks for the update. I was going by his Scout profile which lists him at 175.
Bisharat was recruited to play running back for us. It doesn't mean that he won't position switch if necessary, but that was one of the reasons he committed to us. But he has a similar profile as Scarlett as a bigger power back.

It has gotten to the point where there are virtually no false positives for Stanford in the 247 crystal ball. So far this recruiting year, there have been a few incorrect predictions for kids who never got an offer. A bunch of predictins for one kid who faded due to admissions issues. There have also been a couple of stray predictions that seem unlikely to come to pass. One prediction for crawford and one for troy warner. And then a bunch of people guessed wrong on Hamilton -- or did they? Other than that, stanford may get a clean sweep. Swann, stewart, and robertson are the only other guys who have been predicted to stanford by any "experts." All three were pretty clear in stating that stanford was #1. These days, does anyone actually turn down stanford?

What's going on with Trent Murphy's brother, Connor? Rivals has him listed as an uncommitted 4* recruit holding a Stanford offer but I rarely hear his name come up on this board.

That's too cryptic for my pay grade. Care to elaborate? Is that the same as "thank you for playing and your consolation prize is the home version of our game."

Door #1 = Old Union (formerly) = Admissions
A sometimes unfortunate byproduct of the Stanford package. The flip side you get is when you see the NFL players with Stanford degrees getting interviewed. You know who they are. And you smile.

Doesn't look like Costello had a very good year, statistically. I know nothing about high school football outside of the Bay Area though, so I have no idea what kind of competition he faced.

I love those highlights, but a lot of those were because of incredibly poor tackling by the opposition. It will be much tougher to break many of those tackles in the Pac-12. Still, I was very impressed by his backside pursuit while playing defense and his blocking when he didn't have the ball. The latter, especially, carries a lot of weight in our offense, so I think he may be able to contribute early, depending on what the running back logjam looks like. And, while that 40 is certainly inflated, he does have an almost Love-like acceleration.

The poor tackling was counteracted by how abysmal his offensive line was. Good lord that kid had to shake 3-4 tackles in the backfield at times.
And amartinsu, you're right. I'm guessing his 40 is closer to 4.5, as I think Love officially clocked in at ~4.45. He does appear to have nice torque throughout the RPM range, however.

Love ran a 4.4 when he was 15. You have to realize he was a famous track star before he started high school. At age 17 at an NFTC he ran a 4.3. These camps are all laser timed. He could be even faster now too as sprinters don't peak at age 17. He's by far the fastest player on the team.
