Now that people have jogged my memory, indeed Bright subbed for Murphy for much of the second half versus OSU. Don't remember how many snaps he got versus $C. For that matter, he is listed second on the depth chart to Murphy at LT.

Davidson is listed as second to Tucker at RT. He's appeared in every game, though not for as many snaps as Bright. I have a fuzzy-memory of him spelling Tucker for a short time, but I don't remember which game. Before the season, Shaw said Davidson was better at pass blocking but Tucker better at run blocking.  Davidson was also hurt for a while during fall camp - which Shaw said set him back a bit. At any rate he hasn't had the snaps Bright has.

Given playing time lately, BC's projection of Bright and Fanaika into the starting lineup does seem like the first guess.

Re: Class of 2016 - Hank 91 - 10-23-2015

Folks who follow prep football in SoCal are buzzing about a possible playoff matchup between Ulloa's Coronoa Centennial team and Josh Rosen's alma mater, St. John Bosco. Bosco was great last year, and you'd think they'd miss a quarterback like Rosen, but somehow they're even better this year and threatening to win a national championship.

Trevor Speights lit up the competition again.

Now that McNitzky has an offer, I would expect that Stanford is looking for a walk-on at kicker.  This might be the guy:

Shares a first name with Orin Incandenza, so I'd imagine he's good.

If he were to commit here he would be the #1 guy in this class in my eyes.

I think he's on his official to OU. Can anyone confirm that his official visit to the farm is 11/14 and are their any other confirmed visits for tht weekend?

I saw this this morning also. I really don't care what position he plays or how good he is. If there's a football player out there named Jet Toner, I want him on my team. Can't wait for the headlines on Signing Day: "Toner Inks Letter of Intent."

Heʻs a good kicker.  I watched the championship game last night and he was spot on.  He is also a great soccer player.

Nice. We have a lot of kickers/punters now. Bailey is a freshman, Beall is a freshman and appears to be redshirting, and Robinson is a junior. Does Ukropina have another year of eligibility?

Re: Class of 2016 - TrumpCard - 10-25-2015

Stanford now has a walk on and a scholarship player at LS, punter and kicker. Interesting that the younger at each position is the one on scholarship. Is that a morale issue?

Re: Class of 2016 - CompSci87 - 10-25-2015

Ukropina is a senior and on scholarship. Though he wasn't prior to winning the starting job this year.

Re: Class of 2016 - StanfordMatt - 10-25-2015

Based on his bio, Ukropina didn't appear in any games his freshman year so he does have a fifth year of eligibility remaining for 2016.

Re: Class of 2016 - Hey - 10-25-2015

19 recruits so far.  I'm speculating that there's a spot reserved for Swann, and then that's it for this class.

I sure hope not, we need some WRs, and Stewart, Crawford, Burton, and Robertson are all still possible (some less likely than others).  Not to mention guys like Speights and Schaefer, and hopefully an LB (McCulloch maybe?).

Re: Class of 2016 - socalstanfan1 - 10-25-2015

I think we also need to take into the account the possibility that one or more of the current commits might not make it through the admission process.  There have been rumors about David Long, and sometimes the bad news seems to come out of the blue, though the coaches may know what is happening well ahead of time but are not allowed to say anything.

I was assuming we might have 22 spots or maybe more, and if we lose one or two guys from the current commits, we may be able to take up to 4-5 more.  But that is just a guess, of course
