Quotes like these kill me because recruits spend like a weekend, one or two recruiting visits, and a couple hours on the phone with the coaching staff, at best. And almost all of those minutes are with the coaches in sales mode. I guess a reputation can proceed a staff and a recruit can go off of that, but, uh, I wouldn't say KP's reputation aligns with what her quote says...

I *think* we have a return game at Washington and if renewed Gonzaga at home.

I’m not really sure. I’m assuming it will be hosted by the university of Hawaii. But don’t quote me on that.

It's probably the "Rainbow Wahine" hosted by the University of Hawaii. Stanford has played there before.

I've gone before. It's not awful. At least it's played in a real college gym. In years past, the tourney field has been real bad. Maybe coaching staff is just looking for 3 easy wins.

I went about 30 years ago and had a wonderful time.
Snorkeling in the morning, WBB in the afternoon and Hawaii music and dinner on the beach for three days.
The gym is nice and cool in the afternoon.
It is hard to have a bad time in Hawaii.
Good restaurants in Honolulu.

2012 Stanford upset reigning champion Baylor with Brittney Griner in the Rainbow Wahine Thanksgiving tournament. Not a bad opponent.

At least that one was live streamed for free.

(Although the game did cost me $50 because I told the kid that Stanford wouldn't win. "Will you give me 50 bucks if they do?" "Sure.")

My reaction was that it was an awful photoshop job in an era when AI can merge pictures much more seamlessly.

Looks more like Cardboard cutouts than photoshop...

The most important thing about that photo is that there is no brace on Jordyn Wheeler's knee. Phew!
