unless things have changed transfers in could bring up to 90 units with them from their previous university so anyone transferring after more than two  years elsewhere would essentially leave units behind

Looks like Stanford is getting a WR transfer. Carter Shaw (David's son) is transferring from UCLA where he caught 2 passes in 3 years.

It is common that some classes are not accepted as "Stanford equivalent" and therefore units for those classes don't transfer. Transfers often take a units hit as a result. Hard to imagine it would be a full year's worth of units but depending on what classes the student took it is possible.

Not a regular listener, but I stumbled onto Troy Clardy's podcast with Luck, Harrison Phillips, Justin Reid and Fleming at a Super Bowl gathering, and highly recommend it. 

Luck clarified the QB's are the Mich transfer, Riszk, Mike Mitchell and Mirer.

Really a disappointing group considering Luck/Pritchard/Lindgren and maybe even Reich would have been their coaches. Stanford really needs to upgrade their recruiting game starting at QB.
