2020: 4 (replacing Carrington, Fingall, Wilson, and Brewer). This assumes Anna Wilson doesn't seek and get a medical 5th-year. If she does, we could only be looking at 3.

2021: 4 (replacing Williams, Dodson, Jerome, and Moschkau -- hard to believe we're already looking at recruiting their replacements!)

Do we have a better sense on whether we will have three or four scholarships for next year?

It’s 4 as you posted. Why did you ask ? Inquiring minds :)

To me it seems like he was wondering on the odds of Anna Wilson getting a hardship waiver. I'd say, the fact that she has continued to play this season and her inability to redshirt last season, I don't think that the NCAA would give her that hardship waiver.

Four because Wilson will not get a hardship waiver or because she won't try to get one.  Inquiring minds...

That's 2020, thought you meant next year.

Yes she could, will she is very unknown.

Hey BobK,

Two more 2020 names for you to consider.  I didn't find much linking them to Stanford.  My only source is that Kate Paye just started following them on twitter.

2020

Harmoni Turner - 5'9" PG from Mansfield Texas (HoopGurlz #56, PN #34)
"Explosively quick floor leader with a scorer's mindset in the back court; uptempo contributor with flair; dynamic off the bounce, collapses the defense, distributes."

Deja Kelly - 5'8" PG from Dallas Texas (HoopGurlz #22, PN #50) - Kelly committed to Texas at a very young age but recently re-opened her recruiting
"Athletic combo-guard manufactures, delivers off the dribble with smooth delivery in mid-range game; knocks down the jumper at the arc; savvy floor game, passer, court awareness."

Bueckers out?

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - BobK - 01-13-2019

Thanks Bos Card. I’ll add all three
That # 5 for the Washington girl throws me a bit. Keep up to date on her

The List is updated Thanks Bos Card

Addition two 2020 guards?

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - BobK - 01-13-2019

Given admissions the bigger the net the better.

RE: Women's Basketball Updated Recruiting, Oct 28 - BobK - 01-14-2019

Parrish removed. We aren't in her top 7. Oregon and UCLA are however.

hypothetical McDonalds 2019 all-star rosters. 3 Stanford signees included;  and where other top recruits going.  Prechtel appears to me moving up in Olson's ratings

Marshall sounds fabulous and a great fit for Stanford. Let's hope the visit goes well!!!

Pinewood sharpshooter Hannah Jump nearly outscored Menlo, pouring in 35 points. The Stanford-bound senior made eight of the Panthers’ 17 3-pointers.

Georgia Paye of Menlo referenced -- any relation?

Some googling shows she is John Paye's daughter (and of course Kate's niece).

A lot of the players on Bob's list are possible UConn targets as well, so you can find frequent updates on them in the Boneyard recruiting thread:

https://the-boneyard.com/threads/2020-21-uconn-recruiting.136924/

I've been on the Boneyard a lot as there is a lot of discussion of Pac-12 and other non-UConn WBB teams there. Meanwhile the neutral WBB site at http://boards.rebkell.net is, sadly, much less active.
