Totally, first beat Cal -- in fact, first actually be able to play the game, not have it canceled, and then win it. Otherwise ESPN is going to look pretty silly having a game between Stanford and Pacific in such a prime location. But assuming the Cal game goes as we hope -- and as it should -- then vs Pacific has historic significance. Will Lobo be one of the commentators? And will Gino be called upon for comment?

I have to assume Kara Lawson would be one of the announcers. (I could care less about a UConn player being there. But I'm sure they will call on
Gino GENO & he will be gracious.)
(Edit: Corrected spelling of Geno. Blush! Sorry!)

Kara is coaching Duke so I highly doubt it will be her.. I think it will most likely be Rebecca Lobo...

Wouldn't it be better to have Ros Gold-Onwude there?

Or Chiney Ogwumike. She's on the ESPN payroll.

Ros would be a fun announcer. It'll be interesting to see who they pick.
As an FYI, it's GENO Auriemma. Let's at least show the man the respect he deserves and spell his name right.

Tara now has more wins than any other coach in WBB history.
And better yet, she has done those wins with ethics and class.
And best of all, there are scores of women from the Stanford WBB program in positions of leadership and excellence all over the world. The 40 year decision for nearly 40 years of coaching and 40 years of outstanding alums.

Normally, reaching 1100 wins would be considered a big milestone. But can we sustain three milestones in three games?
Here is going for win 1200, Tara!

Congrats to Tara. Great to see how much the players enjoyed it all, and how much Tara enjoyed how much they enjoyed it.

The players seem to genuinely love her. Clearly a ton of respect from her peers and the 'celebs'. Nice video montage for Tara, and great interview postgame.

What’s been the WBB graduation rate over the past 35 years? Has it been 100% (or close)?
