Rich "Goose" Gossage. Played for Yankees 1978 to 1983, played for Giants 1989.

Spahn Carlton and Goose all correct. The last one has Flatbush as part of his nickname

Doh, Gossage - another guy who traipsed his way through a (very) short tenure in the 'Stick. 

Otherwise, Bob, I was looking back at previous posts on this ? - didn't Mick get the last guy in post #1216?

I mentioned Gossage and Snider earlier.

I was off by a year with Schoendienst. He played for the Giants in 1956 and 1957, the years before they moved west. He's not remembered as an offensive stud, but he led the league with 200 hits that year.

Not always; sometimes Stanford is the #1 seed. Sometimes someone else knocks the #1 seed off before Stanford.

Last time a Stanford baseball team beat the #1 seed was Friday, April 5 vs. UCLA at home. 3-2 win.

Michigan. Brady (10).

Notre Dame Montana (4), Lamonica (1), Thiesman (2)

hadn't checked alabama, but those are the ones that I know.
