I guess BobK expects you to follow the link, but for those that don't:
Stanford and Alabama play at 8:05 AM PDT Sunday morning.
ESPN indicates it will be on the SECN channel.

A 4-0 loss the next game in 45. Don’t know what channel

It's never great to lose, but if any small positives could be taken from this game, Reagan Krause
pitched a fantastic game, and proved she is an option if needed in Game 7.
OTOH, Montana Fouts had to throw another 135 pitches. She has said she threw a lot of pitches
in travel ball tournaments, but it is a different task trying to do that against (elite) Division I competition.
Furthermore, the more pitches she throws, the greater the opportunity for Stanford to figure (and re-figure) her out.
Alabama still has the home field advantage, but I hope Stanford's much deeper pitching staff will help them
carry the day in Game 7.

Much crazier as it is at a larger scale. The first baseman played off the bouncing ball by 6' and was clearly hedged toward first. But the ball bounced even further towards first, where she couldn't/didn't even reach for it (she'd have to reach across her body).

(The "live" view of it is garbled in that clip, but they replay it at 0:20.)
Here's my estimate of the hop. That's about a 60 degree angle from a straight bounce. (Blue oval is where the first baseman was when the ball hit.)

No score after three. Fine plsy by Young for the third out with two on

Warne’s ball was about 120 degrees, so a similar deviation angle. Here is is diagramed.
The difference is that Warne’s bowl was intentional.

Stanford up 2-0 bottom of 6. 2 run double by Aly Kaneshiro . Then Steele just misses a HR.
6 outs to go
Top of 7 2-0. Great great by Vawter
Congrats to John Rittman for talking the program he recently started to the super regional
It’s 5-0 Stanford in the 7th. Do you believe in miracles

Incredible scenes! Fouts has been chased from the mound as Stanford takes a 5-0 lead on a Huff grounder up the middle combined with an Alabama overthrow to score three runs.

It's also worth noting that Oregon State stole a game from Tennessee in Knoxville. They'll play an elimination game later.
Vawter with the strikeout after an Alabama single. Two outs away.
An easy ground ball fielded by Vawter for the second out. ONE MORE OUT!

If Oregon State wins that Knoxville regional, who would host the super regional, us or OSU?

All right now! Well done Stanford! We can add another streak to the list of victims this year by ending Alabama's incredible 17 year streak of reaching the Super Regionals.

I honestly don't know. I believe that both programs would've had to submit a bid to host, and the NCAA will likely go with the better bid if there are no seeded teams remaining; however, I am not up to date on softball procedures for super regionals.

Incredible game and an incredible team. If Oregon State wins, Stanford definitively hosts. We were a #2 regional seed, and they were the #3 regional seed. So let's root for the Beavers!
