Katie Meier of Miami has retired after 19 seasons at Miami. 

Talks of Kenny Brooks/Virginia Tech being pursued by Kentucky. 

Some good jobs will open up and while I don't know if these are a fit, I think Lindy La Rocque has to be one of the most sought-after coaches to make a move to a BCS program.

I agree re Lindy being a likely sought after coach, but BCS? That's a football designation. I assume you meant that as a way to say beyond a mid-major, i.e., major conference

This seems worthy of posting. Really hope Iriafen does not leave. Article states, she is set to graduate this spring from Stanford in 3 years. Top programs may have already contacted her during the season without our coaching staff knowing. Top players at some schools making upwards of $800,000 in collective money. She's projected as a top 3 pick in next year's draft.

In my honest opinion, I think Iriafen returns to Stanford.

Unfortunately, that is where the game has brought us.  As much as I would like to see her come back, if she can actually graduate in 3, get some grad school covered somewhere else and pickup a few hundred thousand to boot, why would she stay at Stanford?  It would NOT be the smart decision for her.  Now if she gets into Stanford Grad program, that is different.

How bad is our collective in comparison to other schools trying to lure Iriafen? It's one thing to want to play for a team that's a true title contending team, if that's a reason she chooses to leave for example. But really how much more money are other programs offering than us? Specifically, I'm wondering about USC and UCLA. I think the SEC in general is in their own tier for money.
