You're right, of course.
On the other hand, there's also this tweet:

But... on the other hand, he still has OVs to Auburn and Alabama (in that order) coming up in the next couple weeks, and he's taken multiple unofficials to Auburn and Alabama over the past several months.
But... on the other hand, it makes sense that most would predict a 4* DL is headed to Alabama or Auburn, just like most predicted Foster Sarell to UW (until the last couple days before Sarell's commitment).

I'm more encouraged by the glasses, horned-rim no less, than the hat. We never lose a guy that wears glasses. I'm going to pencil him as a commit.

Hey, those are my frames! I've worn them as my main glasses for over 25 years. Supposedly the best selling eyeglass frame of all time. Nerd Nation isn't just for college commitments, it's for everyday.
Cheers,

For me, nothing will top Solomon's announcement. First, there was the intrigue about whether or not he'd choose Stanford. That made it exciting enough. And then the Tree and the glasses? Just awesome. So think about this. He started with that introduction and ended with the Sun-Bowl-saving sack. What Stanford athlete has had better bookends to his or her career?

I know I thought Michael Williams would play as a Frosh, and he ultimately didn't, but these Dalyn Wade-Perry Senior highlights are pretty compelling for a school that has some immediate DL rotation openings, particularly at NT.Â

I liked that he leads his team on to the field - how often does a DT have that role?
Setting aside that many of the O-linemen attempting to block him are much, much smaller than he is, I enjoyed watching would-be blockers literally bounce off of him.

Ummm...let's get the spelling of our new admit's surname correct. It's Damuni.

To be fair, that's his brother saying it, not him.

should we assume from the brother's comment either A) he is not LDS, or B) if he is, he is not going to take his mission immediately after HS?

The DL just got heavier, outstanding.

Expected, but oh so satisfying. Especially since the commitment comes for the DL where we can use all the depth we can get.

This ws the toughest acceptance I believe. Bodes well for Johnson and Warner

Curious why you think this was the toughest, Bob. At least according to the pundits at 247, he was leaning towards us for a long time, whereas they are all predicting Johnson and Warner go elsewhere.
Of course, I certainly hope you are right. Time for the D to get some reinforcements in this class.
