The way I see this schedule is USC and Oregon on Friday with UCLA and Cal on Saturday. Stanford has matches scheduled to start at 6:00 pm both days. The way they have the schedule stacked up those matches probably won't start until after 8:00 pm. By 8:00 pm it's going to be around 50 degrees F.
Yes, that's right; I had USC and UCLA swapped in my earlier post.
I thought you were being pessimistic about the times, but the second dual started late and the the first two matches (2s and 4s) are going to three sets.
ETA: And the 4s are going to extra points in the third set. (But the 5s are underway.)

I signed up for B1G+ on PC using Firefox browser. I tried watching events and kept getting "missing end-user IP" message. Virtual chat response is they will get back to me in 24 hours.

Cal beats USC 3-2. The three Cal wins were fairly easy two set matches. The two USC wins were close three set matches.

Stanford Oregon probably starts around 5:20 or so. Ucla Oregon still going although 3-0 ucla
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -

Stanford up 2-0 on Oregon. #2 and #4 won. #1,3,and 5 haven't started. I expect Stanford's #3 team will win.

Stanford silences the quack attack with a 5-0 win.
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -

Turns out, I was right the first time. The gostanford.com post had UCLA and USC swapped (fixed now).
I got to the beach courts at about 5pm, which was good timing. The UCLA/Oregon match ended a few minutes later, so Stanford/Oregon started about 5:15 or 5:20. 5-0 sweep; didn't lose a set (except in the exhibition match).
Stanford/UCLA started about 7pm; by 8:00 I was too cold, so I balied (as did others). The Stanford 5s (Emmy Sharp and Daria Gusarova) pulled out a three-set win; UCLA won all the other sets for 4-1 win.
Tomorrow Stanford/USC scheduled for 2pm and Stanford/Cal at 6pm (UCLA/Cal in between.)
ETA: According to someone who follows USC, two of their starters haven't been playing this weekend, so there is one sub and one regular on their 4s and 5s.
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -
johnbar - 03-08-2025
Stanford vs. USC starting more-or-less on time at 2pm.
Same line-up (1s through 5s) as yesterday.
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -
johnbar - 03-08-2025
Stanford beat USC at the 3s and 5s, but lost the 1s, 2s and 4s. The 4s (Hoffman & Stowell) forced a third set by winning the second 31-29. But fell 15-11.
I wonder if we'll see Gusarova & Sharp move up to the 4s?
Cal currently up 1-0 over UCLA. When that finishes (6:30?), Stanford takes on Cal to wrap up the weekend.
ETA: UCLA squeaks by Cal, 3-2. Cal shows surprising strength. Stanford/Cal dual started about 7pm.

And Stanford gets by Cal 3-2. The 2s (Bell/Wilson) trailed most of the first set, but took it 23-21, and then won the second for the first point. Cal took the 4s in three sets, and then the 1s in two, so Stanford needed both the 3s and 5s. The 5s got started first, went three sets and extra points in the third, but pulled it out. And then the 3s also got a three-set win.

There were many 3-2 matches this weekend. UCLA is slightly better than the other teams in the top 10. Otherwise it's parity. IMO the NCAA tournament will be about which teams are healthy at the end of the season.

I'm curious as to whether you got this worked out.
I haven't tried B1G+ yet, but I'm sure I'll sign up for it soon.

Never got it worked out. They have a "virtual chat" which is basically email. They never responded to any of my requests other than an automatic reply indicating they received my request. There is no way to communicate with someone in real time. I'm starting to think B1G+ is a criminal enterprise. I managed to cancel my subscription yesterday but don't expect to get a refund.
Having said that, if you don't have problems getting access to their programming it might be good.

Stanford just beat Texas A&M CC 5-0
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -
paloalto - 03-14-2025
Coach Fuller mixed up the teams for the Texas A&M Corpus Christi match. Pretty far into the season to do that but I believe it was a good idea. The previous lineup was good but didn't seem like they would win an NC. Stanford Beach VB is at a point where the focus in on a national championship.

Stanford up 2-0 vs Utah
RE: Stanford Beach Volleyball -
johnbar - 03-14-2025
Stanford didn't drop a set against Utah.
Dropped one vs TAMUCC, which is also unranked but 'receiving votes'.
Wilson back with Sorra on the 1s; that's who she played with last season.
Bell moves down to the 3s with Belardi; Jackson up to the 2s with Rockwell.
Still more than half the season to go. Glad to see these tweaks.
Two more home matches tomorrow, a weekend off, and then some big matches at LSU's "Death Volley" tournament.

Stanford vs Texas A&M Corpus Christi game 2. Stanford wins 5-0, all sweeps. Avery Jackson, freshman, played on Stanford's #1 team. Volleyball Magazine ranked her #2 nationally as a prep beach player.
At 5'10" would she be helpful for the indoor team her junior or senior year; she was ranked top ten indoor by prepdig.com?
Yeah, I laughed when I saw that name Death Volley.
