How often do you see an offsides penalty on a kickoff?  What is wrong with us?  This is painful to watch.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - CompSci87 - 09-27-2014

Williamson can kick it out of the end zone when he wants to, so I don't think he'd kick oob intentionally and give up 10 yards.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - dabigv13 - 09-27-2014

Ok well that will do just fine too.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - stupac2 - 09-27-2014

Well, that worked out...

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - TrumpCard - 09-27-2014

Stanford is teeing off on Miles.  He could get hurt.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - dabigv13 - 09-27-2014

How many times do we have to learn the lesson that we can't run the ball when the opponent 100% expects us to run it?

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - 82 Card - 09-27-2014

Right now UC-CU game is tied at 42 with 2:56 left.

Their punter should have been the MVP.

Seriously, this guy is amazing.

And everyone knew that 3 running plays was coming, but I can't say I blame Shaw there.

Shaw knows this but at this point would rather trust the  D then risk a hogan throw.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - shinsengumi - 09-27-2014

Kinda feels like the end of last year's UDub game. Hopefully, the same result.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - dabigv13 - 09-27-2014

Sure, run the ball, but at least put some WRs out wide and spread them out. Running a goalline formation isn't gonna keep things open for our backs.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - 82 Card - 09-27-2014

Every pass play, the UW receivers look around for a flag.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - dabigv13 - 09-27-2014

Would appreciate a good old fashioned make up call here refs....

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - dabigv13 - 09-27-2014

"I've been told if the ball gets close to the line of scrimmage they don't call that."

"It all just conspired against Washington that play didn't it?"

AGH

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - stupac2 - 09-27-2014

Just relief. Holy shit. Cardiac Cardinal indeed.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - SamAtoms1980 - 09-27-2014

LOL

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - dabigv13 - 09-27-2014

Probably the least enjoyable Stanford victory I can recall.

But man that D though.

I thought it was the Stanford D conspiring against Washington.

Re: Stanford - UW game thread - shinsengumi - 09-27-2014

Woohooo!!!!  ;D

This ranks alongside USC 2012 in the most stressful games that I've watched!
