ACC teams in the top 25:
4. Duke
5. Notre Dame
10. North Carolina
12. Florida State
13. Clemson
19. Louisville
24. NC State

No surprise there.  Has to be one of the lowest ranked classes at Stanford in a long time.

I wanted to make a point.

RE: Class of 2027+ - BostonCard - 05-31-2026

What was the point you were trying to make?  I’m happy to leave your post in the 2026-27 thread, even though Guy is a class of 2028.

This is a big loss and decommitment. But given the negative press and perception of Paye and the program rn, surprising? Nope. Putting Paye on her little PR rehab tour is not going to fix this. She needs to be gone and a total reset w/new staff is needed ASAP. As has been discussed extensively, prolonging the inevitable and keeping Paye another year just sets the program back even further behind.

i am a 35-year season ticket holder. i am leaning towards not renewing this year. certainly not planning on attending much. i just hate to lose the good seats in case we are better with a new coach in, say, 2030.  i wonder how others feel.

RE: Class of 2027+ - petersalas - 06-01-2026

Renewals will be sent out soon, and I’m anxiously awaiting the email so I can renew my season tickets.

I know what’s been said and what’s been posted. I’ve heard perspectives from multiple sides, and I hope things improve. I believe they will.

More importantly, I want to continue supporting the players who stayed and committed to Stanford, while also cheering on those who transferred. I don’t like the negative press, but it must be difficult for the players to go through all of this as well.

I choose to support them. If seeing a familiar, friendly face in the stands helps them in any way, then that matters. They’ve made a positive impact on me, and supporting them is one way I can give some of that back.

I'm not renewing. I support the players but not this coaching staff. Season tix renewals is one small gauge of fan interest and I'm willing to roll the dice by not supporting this coaching insanity at least financially.   In all honesty, I expect Maples is going to be very empty for most of the season with crowds routinely 500 or less. AD might ignore fan emails about coaching concerns but can he ignore a major drop off in season tix renewals and empty Maples for all of next season?

RE: Class of 2027+ - KartyFan - 06-01-2026

At this juncture, I think Stanford sports can use all the support and engagement they can get to get us through the craziness of this era. I'd rather risk supporting a poor coach than risk the entire program due to lack of engagement. If she is not the right fit, she will not last. And the cupboard is pretty bare already.

I an in a similar state of mind.  I plan to renew and hope the team succeeds in an "us against the world" state of mind.  I get the motivation for people dropping the tickets but I don't want to use it to try to force a coaching change.

Cheers,

well if they do succeed, say getting to the NCAA tournament, then I doubt we get a new coach....

30+ year ticket holders.  We just made the decision to keep our season tickets one more year.  Hate to give up the good seats.

RE: Class of 2027+ - OCcardinal - 06-15-2026

I liked the graduation pics Stanford WBB posted yesterday of its players (including the grad transfers and some including Coach Paye standing beside them). I don't recall the program supporting grad transfers in that way before.

Also, I was thinking about it this morning and realized that of the 7 players that transferred this season only 2 were recruited by Paye (Somfai and Amborn). Swain, Eschmeyer and Ezike stayed, along with all of her frosh commits (including Jordyn Wheeler, who has looked great playing for Canada in the U18 AmeriCup this week). The remaining transfers were 3 graduates, 1 player (Peterson) who played very limited minutes and 2x transfer Stevenson. The pure number of transfers is undoubtedly bad, but I feel like it would have been much worse if all or most of Paye's own players had left (like happened with Coach Caldwell in Tennessee).
