Agarwal with 11 points might be working his way into more play time. He was 3-5 from downtown.
Moss also showed good potential. He ended up with 10 points in 8 minutes and was 2-3 from outside the arc.

We play #7 Texas tomorrow morning at 10 AM PST. It's on ESPN2. I predict quite a different result than the Green Bay game.

The Longhorns needed overtime to beat Rice, No. 191 in today’s KenPom rankings.

I'm not interested in moral victories. Moral victories don't get you into the dance (not that I'm expecting this team to do that or even come close).

I'm not interested in moral victories. Moral victories don't get you into the dance (not that I'm expecting this team to do that or even come close).
You're right, a loss is a loss. However if we played a close game against Texas I would have more confidence in our ability to win a few conference games than I would if we got blown out.

Gealer played 11 minutes and had 5pts. I don’t know what Agarwal did after the last game to get only 6 minutes and score 0, but we could’ve used a few more makes. Down by 16 at the worst, battled back to within 4, but then reverted to form. M. Jones was high scorer with 17 but from what I saw, his misses of open shots stood out more than his makes.

We are playing outstanding basketball so far in this game. We lead Loyola of Chicago at the half 37-20.

Of course, beating mid-majors and small conference schools is not getting us into the Tourney. By NET rankings, our best win this year is against #236. Loyola is 218.

Crazy how different NET is vs. KenPom. KenPom has Loyola #122.
