Stanford X account says live stats not working. So no livestream, no livestats, and no X in game updates. What a dubious reporting start to the season. X account says they will report results after match has been completed.

When I saw Stanford's lineup I thought they had the talent to be the best in the country. The first day was a little disappointing.

Another 2-3 loss, this time to UCLA.

Stanford's wins at the 2s and 4s were 2-0. The losses were 1-2.
I was hoping for better results, too, but it's the first weekend. They are starting two true freshmen and four sophomores.
Tomorrow should be a little easier, but no gimmes.
I wonder if/when we'll see Gubbins in competition? And I wonder how Emmy Sharp is doing?

This one went down to the wire. We led 2-0, then UCLA took the next 2, and everyone was gathered around Court 5 where we went from down 6-1, and later 12-9(-ish?) to 12-12 with a lot of energy and momentum. However, we lost 15-13 in a valiant effort. Oh so close. Tomorrow is UH, followed by ASU, where some local alumni will be attending as a group to support our team.
