We're going to be lucky to win this one, if we do.

That ball hit the ground. I have no idea how they called it a catch.

Not a catch!

UW's a very good team, but we need to improve a lot. Fortunately, we won't be seeing Justin Wilcox again.

Looks like you were right.

The thing that scares me is that Oregon also has a very good D.

FWIW, UW's secondary has done this to a lot of guys.
BJ Denker (UA): 3.4 YPA
Scheelhaase (Ill.): 6.2 YPA
Southwick (Boise): 3.8 YPA.

Unless college football legalized midseason coaching trades, we've already gotten our quota of Wilcox.
To be fair, I didn't make that clear. Next year is a completely different story. I'm hoping some industrious AD takes a shine to Mr. Wilcox's skills. I'll be happy to provide a testimonial to his agent.

UW outplayed Stanford. Look at the box score. And, Oregon is much better than UW.

One last thing: aside from that one drive with Hogan and Lloyd, we barely used any read-option. I thought this was a tactical mistake -- UW looked pretty befuddled by it and we never returned to it.

This......
Hopefully the coaches use this game as a teaching moment not only for the players but also themselves.
Still, a win is a win, no??

Great to get that win, but it took a few years off of my life. If that catch hadn't been reversed...

Boy, they killed us in the stats. Ty won it for Stanford. We've got to play better than that to beat Oregon. But, we played worse against the Huskies last year and still beat Oregon.

And, BTW, never use this thread name again!
Well, we know three things - Redrum - 10-05-2013
1)Â Price> Hogan.Â
2) Shaw's conservatism likely to cost us a game this year. All we had to do was make one first down (actually there were about three of those instances), but on the last one a single pass completion somewhere in the truncated drive for first down would have been sufficient to run the clock.Â
3) #36 has got some 'splainin' to do in the film session. His missed block let his man run Hogan to the outside and kept Hogan from turning upfield for the first down.Â

TBH I am not so sure. I have a hunch UW is going to give Oregon a game next week. I also have a hunch UW is a legit top ten team.
