38-34 Beavs after a 28-3 run vs. the Ducks. Unbelievable. Lanning has been too aggressive in a few instances. Beavs have capitalized. With 8 minutes to play, can Oregon State close this out?
Utah is demolishing Colorado 56-14 early in the 4th quarter. Anybody surprised? The Buffs will be our co-cellar-dwellers in the Pac-12.
Oregon went for it on 4th down 5 times and failed each time.

Northwestern lost today 41-3 vs Illinois to finish 1-11. They won week 0 vs Nebraska in Dublin then lost 11 straight.

Maybe, but listening to the USC ND game and the announcers are treating Caleb Williams as the "for sure" H winner. The fact USC is still in the playoff hunt and OSU is not probably makes a big difference, as others have stated.
Quote:Early on OSU dominated LOS. At one point in late second quarter OSU had 115 yards rushing to Michigan’s 1. But Michigan stayed in with the big pass plays and then turned around the running game in the second half. Michigan had played a cupcake schedule. So, I think there were doubters. No more. 5 TD’s in over 45 yards in a game ot that magnitude is impressive to say the least. is
JH best win to date, imo. Not easy to whip OSU in The Horseshoe.
Agree. OSU loaded up to stop the run and Michigan made them pay. Then, when OSU realized they had to respect the pass, the run game ate them up. Of course, OSU was probably pretty demoralized by then and the game situation dictated Michigan run the ball. With their best back still not 100% it could have been an issue if the game was still in doubt. Last year that defensive strategy would probably have worked. Michigan didn't have that much of a passing game. They do this year. Knowing that and using it when called upon is indeed indicative of a well coached team. Obviously that does require the ability to do it. This year, Michigan had the tools. The fear was that the moment might be too big for the QB and/or JH would not have enough confidence to let him air it out. Fortunately for Michigan, neither of those things happened.
It is indeed difficult to beat OSU at home. It has been 22 years since Michigan did so.

Fitzgerald’s son is a preferred walk-on for him next year.

I still remember how gracious the ND fans were after the ‘92 game. Made an impression.

I had a similar experience in 2010. Pre-game, game, and post-game were all very positive experiences.

Anyone see the TD Caleb Williams scored just before the half? It's probably what Shawvita had in mind when they drew up the RPO. Except $C has Williams and we don't. What an athlete, wow.

I was thinking the same thing. Perfect execution.

TAMU 31, LSU 17 into the fourth quarter. If it holds, it might be the final nail into a second sec team making the playoffs.

I think the 19 were just this season. The balance are from prior seasons. Sick amount of mercenaries.

19 has to be the most in the Pac-12 this offseason, right?
Just kidding, I already did this research. They were
FOURTH in the Pac-12.

The Sooners vs Red Raiders game is tied at 38 with 10:37 to play. FS1
Not a lot of defense being played. Now 45 to 38 Red Raiders. Sooners have the ball on the 1.

So with this:
Georgia and Michigan are locks for #1 and #2 respectively, and I assume undefeated TCU is #3. Then what? Do you slot one loss tOSU, who didn’t even win their division, ahead of 1-loss USC?
Also, who does USC face in the pac-12 championship? There could be a three-way tie at 7-2 in conference between Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Does Washington advance on account of their head-to-head win over Oregon (they didn’t play Utah)? Of course, first they have to get past WSU.

Not sure what the tie-breakers are, but on the UW-WSU game, they said that if UW wins (resulting in a 3-way tie), Utah is in and if WSU wins, the Ducks are in. (If WSU wins, I suppose Oregon wins the 2-way tie due to their win over Utah.)
