Closer to home, at least a couple of us Cardboarders grew up in Sunnyvale.  When I traveled out-of-state in my teen years, when other kids found out the name of my hometown they looked at me as if I just stepped out of a Leave It to Beaver episode.

Has anybody mentioned Lovelock, Nevada?  Sent my girlfriend a postcard from there saying I thought it would be a good place to set up a homestead.  She disagreed.

The source of a lot of the alfalfa fed in California dairies.

[Note, College of the Siskiyous is across the highway from central Weed.]
[Also, it was arranged so that Weed pointed into the Shak, College out to campus.]
