I like our chances with Little. Tom Herman makes me more nervous here. I watched his handiwork at Ohio State. He's a great recruiter and has made Texas a more credible contender for a national championship.
Yeah, that's the glass is half empty interpretation. Walker met Herman, was totally blown away by him and said now I really know where I want to go.
[/quote]
Can you clarify whether that is what happened, or that is your glass half empty scenario of what could have happened.
Also, wasn't Little also looking at some SEC programs?

Pure speculation on my part. I was just trying to present the bull and the b.ear cases for Little announcing when he is.
As far as the SEC is concerned, I think he is considering Ole Miss, where I believe his sister goes, but it seems most of the pundits consider it a Stanford Texas battle.

Decommitting from Washington when he did, and making the comments he did, it is pretty much a no brainer that he is going to pick Stanford.
Although, who knows, maybe he's going to Harvard.

Never heard of him before, but his vid is impressive. My guess is Stanford is recruiting him to play WR because he catches the ball well and Stanford needs more WRs, but that is total speculation.Â

I wonder if he got an acceptance letter. Here's hoping for absolute & public confirmation coming soon!Â

I don't know if they are in touch with each other, but Sarell and Wedington come from the same area of Washington - their high schools are in the same league and their towns are just a few miles apart.

Did he write that? Dang. Sounds like he's a lock for Alabama.

Funny, I have a cousin named Joe McGrath who's about 18 now. Definitely not him, but I did a double-take.

Please oh please oh please. Sarell is reported as having said that he wants to make his decision by early December regardless of the fact that his official visit to Stanford is slated for January. He says that he won't take his official visit if he decides against Stanford.
I guess it might be a nod to early admissions notifications as well?

I believe since he made that comment he said he would announce at the Army All American game in January. So unless he has changed his mind again, that comment has been superseded.
Wedington's decommit from Washington (to presumably come to Stanford) gives me renewed hope that we might land Sarell.

Scholarship athetes can be admitted at any time. 50 or so signed LOIs in Novemeber after being admitted prior to their signing. It's early admissions for non scholarship athletes thus the two preferred walk ons were accepted and committed.Â

The tweet responses from some of the UW fans are mighty classy: "Major life mistake" and "he aint a husky then hes enemy.period"
Although I did like one of the responses to one of those outraged tweets: "If you could spell or use grammar correctly, maybe he would take you seriously."
