Given that he is a 3* ILB (and offer list), and the needs at the position and open scholarships, I wonder if it might not have been a good idea to take a flyer with a scholarship offer for this kid.

And also BBK was in our back yard, whereas Fowler is theirs (he's from Seattle).  But still, that is a bit at what I was getting at that I hope we don't regret not offering him a scholarship.

I agree. Chris Petersen is noted for taking good players and making them great. If he didn't offer Fowler, there is a reason behind it.
