Peat was a better prospect out of HS and didn't play I doubt Sarrell would

Re: Class of 2017 - OutsiderFan - 10-02-2016

I don't know what you're basing Peat being a better prospect on, but according to 247...

Peat was the #4 ranked OT and #30 player nationally.
Sarell is the #1 ranked OT and #2 overall player nationally.

Re: Class of 2017 - washingtonismoney - 10-02-2016

Also Peat got something like 20 snaps/game in his freshman year.

Re: Class of 2017 - Phogge - 10-02-2016

Peat's teammates freshmen year were competent. Right now Hall and Tucker are not.

Re: Class of 2017 - Phogge - 10-05-2016

I agree on the rankings. Tucker was a five star who now plays like a two star. Hall had his Tunnel Workers lunchbox stolen from him last Friday. Bright should be playing LT.

Re: Class of 2017 - mdcubsfan - 10-06-2016

was reading an article on ESPN on Washington recruiting ticking up and saw Salvon Ahmed committed to them on Sep 23?  Did I just totally miss that?  Any other story with that?  Thought we had a good chance with him and prioritized his recruitment.

Re: Class of 2017 - larkinforever - 10-10-2016

Anyone have any intel on Elijah Molden (4-star CB playing HS ball in Oregon)? He apparently has a top 3 of Washington, Oregon and Stanford and attended this weekend's Washington-Oregon game on an official visit to Oregon.

Re: Class of 2017 - BobK - 10-10-2016

Stanford is very involved. His
QB is coming to Stanford for baseball.    Tim Tawa a top baseball player plus he is breaking all Oregon HS passing records.
Back to Molden we are doing well

Re: Class of 2017 - larkinforever - 10-10-2016

His dad, Alex Molden, apparently played quite a few years in the NFL (I don't remember this), after a great career at Oregon, also as a CB (I do remember this). Alex apparently now works at Nike. Oregon would seem to have quite a few large, built-in advantages, so it will be interesting to see if we can get Elijah.

Re: Class of 2017 - trancos61 - 10-11-2016

Sarrell apparently will make his decision in early December.

Re: Class of 2017 - washingtonismoney - 10-16-2016

KJ Britt apparently going to visit to see Stanford vs. Colorado: http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2016/10/auburn_linebacker_target_kj_br.html

Re: Class of 2017 - slide - 10-16-2016

that is very good news.  I am not sure of Britt admissions status, but our ILB has not been inspiring this year.  on potential playing time Britt would have to like what he sees

Re: Class of 2017 - ThePassionOfTheChryst - 10-16-2016

If he signs here, would we lead the nation in players named KJ?

Re: Class of 2017 - Xylophobia - 10-16-2016

Sarrell was in South Bend yesterday if I read that article right. I hope he looked past the ugly game and was more impressed with the team that held on until the end!
