UNC took it up another level in the fifth. They just played like they wanted it more while going on an 8-0 run. Sigh. This team just continues to disappoint even when my hopes were higher during sets 2-3. At least we didn't get swept. But after this we have ZERO chance of being a top 16 host.

Excuse me? Parks should not have been playing. She was clearly injured. Once that happened, the L was likely. Esp with her backup unavailable.

Thought Jordyn Harvey started out looking OK (hitting ~.200 in the first set, I think), but after a while, not so much (hit -0.031). She did get 2 aces.
I was also surprised Logan Parks came back in. Really hope she is OK. I wonder why Lilly Wagner was not available.

I don’t know what is involved in checking at courtside for signs of a concussion but we didn’t see or hear that it was being done. Please tell me I missed something.
If she had a potential concussion, she should not have gone back in.
If she didn’t, Monday-morning coaching would argue she should have gone in a few points earlier- maybe only on the back row.

Seems to me that the Stanford Daily used to cover every women's volleyball match. (Years ago, when I saw the physical paper most every day.)
Just checked the website, and the most recent article about the team I could find was dated October 12, about the ND/Louisville road trip.
I guess I was hoping they might have some info on the status of the injured players.
