The only good thing that has come out of this OJ saga is that it makes $outhernCal look bad.

Sorry to go off topic by going back on topic, but I just came across this nugget regarding Stanford-UCLA, something probably already mentioned here. Not only has Stanford beaten UCLA seven times in a row, the Cardinal has outscored the Bruins in each of the 14 halves in those seven games. Fairly impressive.

Well, that is almost true.
Most of the seven games were not close, but in the two one-score games [2009 and 2012 CCG] both teams scored 10 points in the second half.

That is not a correct statement. I think the view of the verdict was strong one way or the other, but roughly evenly split.

You say roughly evenly split, I say widely.  I have no idea how that equates to my statement being incorrect, but I think we basically agree.

If you re-polled people re: OJ I would guess almost no one would say the jury found correctly. Yet many -- even a wide number of people! -- thought that the jury got it right. That's interesting, given current perception and presentation of the trial.

(See, for instance, Dave Chappelle's joke about OJ here: http://youtu.be/De-A4SWJDUY)

Or Chris Rock's take...

Sorry. I got that stat from the GoStanford.com recap of the game and didn't bother to check for accuracy. Thanks for setting me straight.

Hogan"s QBR vs the Bruins was the second best performance in the PAC 12 this season. While some other quarterbacks had consistently great games, it shows that Hogan may have a high ceiling.
