Where is Chason tonight?

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - OutsiderFan - 03-27-2014

If you want to see a team in white and red jerseys playing well, watch Wisconsin.  They look good enough to beat Arizona for sure, and maybe even to win the whole tournament.

Agree.

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - jeboody - 03-27-2014

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - Trevmiesterj - 03-27-2014

How about just making free throws?

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - BostonCard - 03-27-2014

Actually, rebounding is even (tied at 25 as of the 8:52 mark).  And free throws have kept us in the game (Stanford is 19/26; Dayton is 8/14).

Aside from the fact that Dayton is shooting better (24/52 vs 16/40 for Stanford), they have a 16-9 assist advantage.  Unsurprisingly, we have a bunch more turnovers (9-4).

To their credit, Dayton has played very well. I don't think Stanford is playing any worse than in their two NCAA victories thus far.

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - jeboody - 03-27-2014

back to 6-pt deficit but i don't want to get my hopes up...ok just as i'm typing this, there's a 3-pt play opportunity for dayton

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - martyup - 03-27-2014

WTF?

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - needle - 03-27-2014

That flagrant foul kept Stanford in the game. But for how long?

How about a Flagrant 10?

Seems like the Flyers are getting most of the rolls and bounces today.

Nobody touched him.

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - burger - 03-27-2014

He calls a timeout so he can go back to zone?  Great job.  And we're stuck with Dawkins now for years more.

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - jeboody - 03-27-2014

that lazy dribbling-leading-to-steal by brown after our own steal...story of this game

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - martyup - 03-27-2014

Too many missed opportunities.  Looks like they wanted it more.  We got out hustled.  We had our chances.

Re: Stanford vs. Dayton Game Thread - needle - 03-27-2014

Is Brown coming back next year?
