So Florida State wallops the home team 55-44.
Florida State's zone was extremely effective, holding Iowa State to 24% shooting, and only 19% from three. A defensive slugfest. It seemed to me that the refs were letting a lot go, given that it was such a physical game and virtually no free throws were shot until the bitter end.
If we get past the Coyotes we will have a physical, defensive, pack-it-in zone to get through. Our three point shooters had better be ready.

So much for ISU's Hilton Magic.

Shooting effectively, but letting South Dakota drive a little too easily. Mikaela Ruef on the bench, having taking a real knock to the side of the head going to the floor after getting tangled up going for a loose ball. Chiney has been okay, but they're putting 3 people on her most possessions, and we're settling for jumpers a bit too easily.
36-22 at the under-4 timeout in the first half, but Lili just picked up her second foul.

terry, I've got to hand it to you. I was really worried that the home town crowd, coupled with our proclivity this season for somewhat slow starts, would give ISU an advantage. Now, not so much...
You, clearly, had no use for such concern.
