That was a nice series.  Go to our best players and good things happen.

It seems to me they are running left a lot behind 58 the freshman who they just moved to left tackle.   Testing him?   trying to find anything that might work??

Had some unavoidable chores.
Pulled up game just in time to see us run the 2 min offense down the field to score go ahead TD.
Great we’re finally ahead.
But Seeing the stats and all the notes on here is a little depressing to be honest.
The continued lack of a RB run game just seems like an overwhelming weakness that is gonna really limit season upside.

42 rushing yards for us in first half. Sad.

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-07-2024

I am bummed by how we are letting them pass on us

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - newguy - 09-07-2024

Tiger takes it to the house!!!

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - ADPinWDC - 09-07-2024

BEAUTIFUL RUNBACK TD by Backmeier!
Three good cuts, and SCORE STANDING UP!  21 - 7 Tall Trees.
And our O-Line gets to rest...

Wow Tiger!
Before that our D held pretty good especially against the run.
David Bailey brought the heat

First punt return for a TD since McCaffrey in 2016 Rose Bowl, according to announcers. Really?

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - martyup - 09-07-2024

Tiger's got wheels.

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - TonyLima - 09-07-2024

Meanwhile, final: Cal 21 Auburn 14.

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - SkiBum80 - 09-07-2024

Ayomanor mugged
Ball was maybe catchable
Horrible ref no call

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - BobK - 09-07-2024

Absolutely a terrible call and announcers without a clue

---

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - Hurlburt88 - 09-07-2024

OK, a decent lead.   I want to see intense focus on pass defense, our rushing attack, and what Brown looks like

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - ADPinWDC - 09-07-2024

GREAT EXECUTION on the SLANT to TE ROUSH by Daniels, TD on 4th & 4.   BOOM!
Up 31-7 late in Q3.

RE: FB -- Cal Poly Game Thread - martyup - 09-07-2024

Is a 24 point lead enough to let Brown get some snaps?

---

How low is the attendance?  They won't show the crowd on the telecast.

Credit to Cal, but all throughout the game (from start to finish) a pitiful performance from Auburn.
