Stanford beat Hawaii 4-1, but they are still ranked eight places higher.  It's kind of ridiculous; they are really riding on their reputation.
Stanford moves up one spot, from 19 back to 18, where they were a few weeks ago.  Hawaii (1-1) falls from tied for 5th to 10th.

Hawaii hit my Covid restrictions and grad losses however and probably ranked too high

Beautiful playing conditions. Not too hot and no wind.

That was some high level college beach volleyball.  If Stanford had been able to hold on to the Nourse twins Stanford would be a top five team.

Stanford squeaks by ASU, 3-2.  Came down to a three-set win at the 2s.   Maybe Hodel & Reilly got a slow start?  Set scores: 17-21, 21-8, 15-9.

They finish the road trip against UW later this afternoon.

Apparently there was a mistake in the scores earlier.  Stanford also won at the 5s, making it a 4-1 win.

And the stats for the meet with UW are confused.  They have the Stanford players listed as Huskies, and vice versa.
