Going into the final event for women's track and field, USC and Arkansas were tied in the team points race.  Then this happened:

Arkansas takes second place in the race, and the overall team championship.

O’Keeffe fell got up and finished 7th in the 5K. Stanford tied for 10th with 20 points. Disappointing for Stanford

If USC had been able to defend their title from last year it would have been a record-tying 14th NCAA team title in one season for the conference.  The last time it happened?  The other year Stanford won 6.  

Now in order to tie it will have to be either UCLA or Stanford winning in baseball.  Gotta get a win in the supers first, though.
