It is strange to see the Washington offense, which ran roughshod over so many Pac-12 defenses (including ours), struggle so mightily against the Alabama defense.
I guess the Alabama defense really is as good as advertised.

I'm not sure Stanford's offense (in its 2016 vintage) was ever scoring much on UW, but I would've loved to see the defense with a healthy Meeks and Holder take on the Husky offense.

They were running quick passes and flairs early, and were successful. The fumble (after they'd gained 25 yards on the drive) was a turning point. Then the bad pick and Browning hasn't been the same. That third down conversion at the 11 took the starch right out of their defense.

Browning strikes me as somewhat Hogan-ish -- pretty good when he can lean on a strong running game. But Alabama's taken away UW's running game and Browning can't carry the team himself.

The P12 has already **** in its own bed overall. I favor total Armageddon... except for us. I want Foster Sarrell to look at the Huskies and think they are poseurs. I know. Ain't gonna happen, but I'm a 98% unbeliever in the transitive power of other conference teams' success. Only Stanford success matters. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

A friend of mine recounted that recently he was on a skype call for work and won of the participants must have forgotten about the camera cause he just started digging for gold and depositing his findings without discretion. Suppose I am preaching to the choir, here, but I am not a Big-X fan, really dislike tOSU, and, not even playing in the CCG, I don't think they should have made the playoffs. Now, if you want to know what I really think... :).
Hope they lose worse than UW.
