Re: Class of 2017 - BostonCard - 09-17-2016

I wonder if that drive where we simply had McCaffrey, Burns, and Marx in the backfield and 8 linemen (OK, maybe one or two was a tight end) impressed Little and Sarell?

If you are an offensive line recruit, today had to leave you licking your chops.

Should have been a pretty good night for recruiting Sarrell and Little. We won impressively, and Notre Dame and Texas, two of our competitors for them lost.

Anyone know who the other three guys in the picture are?

Re: Class of 2017 - rudruff - 09-18-2016

I am going to say Davis Mills, Colby Parkinson & Tucker Fisk.

So you mean from left to right: Mills, Sarrell, Little, Parkinson, Fisk?

Yes. Trying to compare them to the pictures on one of the offer sites.

Free article from Andy about Sarell'a visit.  Sounds like he liked what he saw.

I don't disagree but (my guess) they wouldn't make a big impact until 2018 at the earliest. So not necessarily a close connection.

I interpret the comment more about maintaining the full "funnel" of o-line talent to ensure depth and time for development.

If Sarell is the #3 player in the country, he will start as a True Frosh at LT.  You just can't keep talent like that on the bench, unless you are really deep at the position, and few programs are.

Peat was a better prospect out of HS and didn't play I doubt Sarrell would
