I'm not sure Fudd is a point guard. Hoopgurlz and Prospectsnation list her as a "G" not a "PG". Plus Paige Bueckers, future point guard for UConn, keeps recruiting her friend Fudd to play beside her, presumably as a shooting guard.
if you like, watch the FIBA under-17 games. with both fudd and bueckers on the floor, azzi plays the 1 and paige the 2.
If Fudd comes to Stanford she can play any position she wants.

brother at brown, both parents went to williams. family will understand stanford.
from the video, she looks to be a hannah jump type, 3-point gunner.
in 2021 not only do we have at least 4 top point guards with some interest, we have at least 4 top wings (2-3's): citron, kampschroeder, ducharme, von oelhoffen. bob has peyton verhulst on the list as well. she was a star for the us under-16 national team, averaging 14 points. haven't heard much about stanford and verhulst lately, but if she's still interested, she'd be fabulous. then there's jzaniah harriel from california, who'd apparently love to come to stanford and has a 4.7 gpa.

For what this is worth, based on my "local knowledge."
Paige Bueckers was a non-starter for us.

Better to get her injuries out of the way now, before joining Stanford in the Fall. Can't wait to see her meld with the team.

Totally agree. And if this means that she's not exposed to injury possibilities -- e.g., Anna Wilson in the McDonald's All American game that led to the concussion that sidelined her for so long -- so much the better. She'll be ready and healthy to go with Stanford from the start, at least we can hope.

Apropos of that, anyone who wants a preview of coming attractions should watch this Van Gytenbeek highlight reel:

LOTS to get excited about. She does it all - stop and pop, dish, from outside, in transition, layups, steals, and a beautiful coast to coast pass on a fast break.

Actually, two beautiful (and eye-opening) coast to coast passes ...agree, VERY exciting highlight reel!

Great to see. Interesting that Cameron Brink was not selected for Oregon - probably in part because of her injury? Though with her switch to a much less basketball-competitive high school for her senior year, I'm wondering if she is less focused on basketball than she was in the past? Maybe I'm just still feeling burned by the last tall, really highly regarded post player from Oregon who lost interest in basketball over time (Kailee Johnson), but I feel like the last year or so Brink's trajectory has not exactly been what I would have expected for the player who was as of her sophomore year the no. 1 recruit in the country. All things considered, I was wowwed by her play in the FIBA U19 as I had hoped I would be. Hopefully this is just a blip!

Brink transferred for reasons personal to her and her family. My brother has watched her numerous times this year and he says her all-around game has improved over last year - even played some point forward

Per photos Brink isn’t wearing a boot anymore
I’ve seen her play in person and love her
She is at her high school where she would have gone and grew up near. A story wanted to be with neighbor friends
