I believe there are 2 DSAs. Per a coach although he didn’t state it as a fact just a comment when I said one

Ella Andrews played fairly well in the last match. However she is in a learning mode for college blocking and should be better next year.
The single best improvement to the team would be to get back Erika Sayer. Jamesy, do you know the timeline for Sayer's return to the court?

Unlikely to be back before the end of the regular season. Maybe postseason.

Congrats to Logan Parks, who earned ACC Setter of the Week for the second time.
We need all of the good mojo we can get this weekend @ ND and @ Louisville.

Lol. The sets would really improve if the passes were concistently pretty good. Don't need to be perfect, but do need to be pretty good.

I'm a fan of Logan Parks. She is trying her best. But let's be honest. She is one of the least accurate and most inconsistent setters in the ACC. For these awards they only go by stats. So when Stanford plays cupcakes Logan can win setter of the week based on the hitter stats.
To her credit she is excellent at picking up tips and pretty good at blocking so those stats are all hers.
First KPI of season out. Stanford at #33. Ouch.

I wasn't trying to discredit the constructive criticism of those on the board re: Parks. I'm just hoping that last weekend's results will lead to similar (or better!) results this weekend.
With apologies to Anders Ericsson... maybe Parks is approaching her ten thousand hours of practice and mastery of her craft is just around the corner :-)

One of the statisticians on VT has his usual end-of-season RPI predictions. Stanford currently stands at 26th, with an estimated win-loss record of 20-10.
Probability of Stanford being in the top 16: 11%.

1 kill from the MBs in set 1. This team can’t win with that. As noted above, all kinds of problems on offense. Blyashov has been good and the rest is a mess. Harvey maybe up to ok. Set 1 ND.
