Can remove "probably."
I suppose it depends on your definition of "power" RB, but Josh Adams, Bolu Olorunfunmi, Chris Warren and Cameron Scarlett are all listed over 200 pounds.

Adams and Scarlett strike me as much more finesse than power. Warren doesn't seem to be considering Stanford. Bolu who to me most resembles a power back of the 4 is committed to UCLA

If you are going by weight, then Stephan Taylor wouldn't be a power back.

I believe that we have an offer out to Soso Jamabo, a 6-3 top-100 back from Texas. That's pretty "power" as far as I'm concerned.

Interesting. Soso is also a shooting guard with an impressive offer list for hoops as well. Given that Shaw & Company like to work football recruits out in a basketball game, I'd imagine he passed that test.

Rivals did an interview with 4 star DL Christian Wilkins from CT. He said he is most interested in "academic schools" when asked about his top choices. Mike Farrell then asked if any academic schools stand out, and he mentioned Stanford first.
https://rivals.yahoo.com/video/press-and-news-football/stanford/RCS-New-Jersey-Christian-Wilkins-1125030?
He hasn't planned an unofficial visit to Stanford, but would seem to be taking one of his officials to Stanford. Now if those reporters would just ask recruits who mention Stanford as a top choice, if they plan on taking two AP classes their Senior year...
I've read 247's "Crystal Ball" on Wilkins and most say Ohio State. No Stanford predictions. But, I'd argue his interest is greater in Stanford than the experts think, based on this interview.
A Rex Manu, Canton Kaumatule, Christian Wilkins DL class would be pretty awesome for Stanford. Not sure how interested Rasheem Green is, but given his visit he seems at least possible. Adding him as well would make for the best DL class in Stanford history.

Size isn't what makes a powerback it is how you run the ball Stepfan had a power running style

Unlike Stepfan this kid is big but has a finesse running style. Not that it matters because I am pretty sure he's not considering Stanford

5 star OT/OG Chuma Edoga to SC today. If you haven't seen his tape from that recent camp I highly suggest watching it. Destroyed a ton of top d-line prospects.

I was bummed but not surprised given the rumor mill had everything pointing towards U$C.
On a separate but related note, Austin Aaron committed to Cal in what seemed to be a pressure situation. He is someone I believe we can flip if Stanford offers.

Yikes is going to have a tough time again next year. I wonder about his recruits. One of them I know personally. Not only is he a no-star, he didn't make 1st, 2nd or HM all-league, while 13 of his high school teammates did. More than anything else, I honestly hope he doesn't get hurt, even on scout team duty.

Maybe but his entire family went to Kal so I wouldn't hold my breath. He seems like a back up plan if we can't get ESB and Irwin.

I liked the list of recruits by position that was in the Class of 2014 thread. Anyone have the knowledge, selflessness and general awesomeness to produce one for this Class of 2015 thread?

Stanford offers C Brian Chaffin:

Chaffin's a four star on 247 and ESPN -- a top 300 player for the latter, no less -- and an UnderArmour All-American.

Looks like he won't have any problems with admissions:

"He maintains a 4.4 GPA and is one of the top students in his class."
Reminds me a bit of Chase Beeler.

Perhaps Mason's strategy is to offer every Stanford offeree and hope to catch whoever doesn't get past Montag.

Am I reading the recruiting sites and tea leaves correctly that Stanford is unlikely to sign a QB in the class of 2015? If so, this would be the 2nd class in the last 4 years without a QB. That could be a problem down the road.
