BobK, any word lately on 2023 Jordyn Harvey. She lists her status as pending acceptance. Harvey should be getting an admissions decision in the near future if not gotten one already.
Admission notices went out one month ago for the non-athlete class of 2022. If, as Bob says, they are waiting for sixth semester grades, those will depend on the school calendar but generally come out late May to mid June. We also don’t know what else they may be waiting on. There’s a spring sitting for the SAT in a couple of weeks; results would be back a few weeks after that.

Since Belardi will be #3 on the depth chart for setting, wouldn't it be possible she is a walk-on considering her parents are close to billionaire status? Why use a scholarship on a player who has no financial need for it?
If she is good enough to win Gulf Shores U18 beach tournament maybe she could be used indoors as a DS.
Elite Beach Volleyball Club is partially owned by Holly McPeak. McPeak was a TV commentator for PAC-12 indoor and beach matches. I now see her doing ESPN events; money is probably better.
I notice on Belardi's Instagram introduction she is being followed by Ipar Kurt. Kurt's professional team is currently playing in the championship of the best league in Turkey.
I'm pretty sure Kurt wouldn't make any public announcement about commitment to Stanford until her league and pro contract have ended. Also possible Kurt hasn't been admitted yet. Stanford doesn't get too many applicants from Turkey so it might take longer to evaluate her grades.

I agree she can't be on a beach scholarship if she's playing indoors. I'm just speculating. I don't have any idea if she is or isn't on athletic scholarship. If there is one available and the portal is not something Hambly is considering, then sure she might as well get the scholarship. Although to be fair there are walk-ons who could use the financial aid far more than she needs it.

Looks like Stanford is getting a grad transfer from Cal: Kate Bierly.
If I understand correctly, she graduated in three years. With a COVID year, she might have two years of eligibility left.
