I've decided this is completely meaningless. Key words: Hail Mary.

I've never heard of a QB getting moved to second-string because he couldn't throw the Hail Mary.

If you take it as a standalone incident I would agree with you.  But I give Mora the benefit of the doubt that this was one of many times Rosen has demonstrated a less than 100% effort and this was the culmination/last straw.

You know, when you got it practice is just boring.  Saving himself for the Voldemort campaign.

My favorite is his retweet of his high school records.

This week's sign of the apocalypse: Rosen has odds listed for winning the Voldemort (but no one from Stanford made this list).

(How sweet it would be if Hogan miraculously comes through!)  :)

Maybe he'll take second.

Or CMAC.

I'm sure glad our coach is not an a-hole or a drunkard.  ;D

Re: And the other shoe drops (Rosen) - Mick - 08-24-2015

The Michigan v. Utah game bets are interesting...Utah favored by 5.5.  Only 52% of the betting has gone to Michigan.  I have versions of all the LDS community adding to the pot (tsk tsk).  O/U is 46.  Gonna be a tough game for Michigan in that altitude with kickoff at 9:30 p.m. body time after travel.

Re: And the other shoe drops (Rosen) - fullmetal - 08-25-2015

I just want Josh Rosen to lay an egg against Stanford, that's all.

I'm really looking forward to hating on Rosen. I hate it when our enemies are likable (take that, Brian Scalabrine). I feel like my hatred for this guy will be at Cade Mcnown levels. Yeah.

I'm by no means a UCLA-hater (wife is a Bruin and I went to grad school there), but I am really looking forward to October 15 and Stanford versus the Rosen One. Eight in a row, baby!

Interesting perspective on the recent history of UCLA quarterbacks, how they affect the program, and the program's overall direction.  Here's part I, which doesn't say much about Rosen or how UCLA folks perceive him:

Here's Part II, 2012:
http://gojoebruin.com/2015/06/18/the-past-present-and-future-of-ucla-quarterbacks-part-ii-the-roller-coaster-of-qb-recruiting/

2013:

2015: Rosen was the third QB that UCLA offered for the class of 2015.  First was Ricky Town who went to Alabama, then Blake Barnett.

And recruiting Rosen and why they took him.  This article was published a year ago.  Some interesting insights midway through the article
http://gojoebruin.com/2014/09/23/josh-rosen-the-ucla-quarterback-weve-all-been-waiting-for/

Analysis:  The author doesn't think much of Mora's/Mazzone's ability to develop quarterbacks.  Now THAT is interesting.  Why would Rosen sign up for that, and how long until he bristles?
