Stanford 28
WSU 21

Re: WSU score prediction thread - SeattleTree - 10-08-2014

After the first five games, I have absolutely no idea what to expect.

Redwoods 31
Redcats    24

I think the defense will play lights out, as usual, but will ultimately be left on the field too long and give up 24 points.  I think the offense will find the sledding a little easier, but still shoot itself in the foot often enough to keep things close.  To get to 31, I think the defense or special teams need to score at least once and set the offense up with a short field.

Stanford 31
WSU 13

Re: WSU score prediction thread - Farm93 - 10-08-2014

Stanford 38
Washington State - 17

Finally! This week I am more confident in the O's ability to get to 38 than the D's ability to keep them at 17.  Still I BELIEVE in the D, so no way am I predicting anything above 20 for Wazzu.

Re: WSU score prediction thread - fullmetal - 10-09-2014

20 - 17 Stanford.  The defense holds against a last-ditch WSU drive, sacking Connor Halliday multiple times throughout the course of the game.

Re: WSU score prediction thread - Hank 91 - 10-09-2014

Stanford, 45-17.

Re: WSU score prediction thread - 81alum - 10-09-2014

Stanford: 35
The Pumas of the Palouse 21

Stanford gets its running game going and controls the clock, or else it might be 70-42.  By the fourth quarter the Offensive Line is enjoying the scrimmage as our committee practices A gap and B gap runs.  Our defense exerts enough pressure to force some errant throws and an interception or two, but our passing defense's statistics are tarnished by a lot of darts into the seams of our zone.

Re: WSU score prediction thread - Leftcoast - 10-09-2014

In honor of baseball's 2013 NLCS series:

Shaw's Cardinals        34
Leach's Pirates          20

(Thankfully, this is a score we DIDN'T see last year.)

Re: WSU score prediction thread - oman - 10-09-2014

Stanford 49
WSU 29

Re: WSU score prediction thread - Rally - 10-09-2014

Just a reminder:  we didn't score 40 points on Army.  Reminds me of the Penn State/Ohio State infamous train game.

Re: WSU score prediction thread - pcgoode - 10-09-2014

32-14 for Stanford.

Re: WSU score prediction thread - CornFed - 10-09-2014

One special teams score, one defensive score (or effective near-equivalent) and only one stall in the red zone which leads to the lone field goal.  Rhyne is only needed once and the defense keeps WSU under 20.  All in all, a very good night; leading to an entirely different tone on this board over the next week (thankfully!!!  :)  )

Stanford - 38
Coug'd - 17

Hell, while I'm hot, SF Giants - 4 and StL Cardinals - 2 in Game #1 of the NLCS!!!!

AAAnnnndddd!!!  Average Global Surface temperatures will increase by 1.8 degrees F by the year 2100.
