Sadly, every school has jerks that post on these kinds of sites (yes, Stanford has a few as well). I never consider it a reflection on the school. Instead, it demonstrates a total lack of class and intelligence on the part of the individual.

I wonder what our visitor was ready to post if UCB had won Big Game? If Stanford had choked and lost to that 2013 UCB team that might have been worthy of the worst coaching job of the year post.

Agreed. I think the alumni I meet at work are much more representative. Haven't had any problem with the alumni I run into at the local pizza parlor just over the hill from campus either, even when I get the server to change channels to Stanford women's BB.

Had UC beaten LSJU this year, it would have been the biggest upset in the history of organized sports. I suspect that UC would have given up football because there certainly would not have been a bigger mountain to climb.Â
Well, that's it. I think we can safely store the shoulder pads and cleats until August.....
