An interesting thing about that Shareece Wright clip:  Notice it was 3rd and 14 from the Southern California 34 with less than a minute remaining until the half?  Just a run up the gut which was on its way to getting nothing; leaving a 51 yard field goal attempt. Man, that Harbaugh guy was really conservative; based on last week, there is no way Shaw sits on it like that.... ;)

Phil, here's a few clips you may want to see - Mick - 10-31-2013

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkNQqOurmIA  That's 70 yards in the air, Phil.  Into a 15 mph wind.  On the last throw of the day.

Love the first line of this article:
http://www.stampedeblue.com/2012/4/16/2952098/peter-king-andrew-lucks-pro-day-performance-a-big-middle-finger-to-phil-simms-nfl-draft

"A month ago, Andrew Luck silenced all two of his critics with his performance at Stanford's Pro Day. "

This one is just 44 yards...from his knees.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWu9SEerxkU

OK, let's be fair.  Phil has come around: http://beforeitsnews.com/sports/2013/10/andrew-luck-is-developing-into-a-top-5-nfl-qb-2532310.html

And just because I can't resist.... - Mick - 10-31-2013

Phil Simms, after second  year:  66.0 rating
Andrew Luck, second year so far: 91.0 rating

Chris Simms, career rating, 69.1

Quote:"I underestimated almost everything about this guy. He's bigger, stronger, more mobile than I expected and has adapted to the NFL game very fast... He can do anything you want. His mechanics are flawless. He has great balance. He is big and strong. His shoulder is in the right angle that you always want. And the arm angle makes his throwing motion very efficient. He can drive the football down the field with ease."

Now, I wonder if we'll ever hear Skip Bayless make a similar mea culpa.

Phil Simms is better at life that Skip Bayless.

Ahhh, but the REAL question is whether Rick Bayless is better at Mexican food than Skip Bayless is at life?

Apparently so...

I think I have that one too.  Let me check.  And the 2009 U$C ("what's your deal") has been found as well.

Do you have either posted somewhere?...would love to see them again.

btw, fullmetal...if you ever get the time, could you post these games somewhere?  still can't find them on the web.

Ping me.

In other sad news, I discovered that the hard drive containing all of my 2011 games died an untimely death :(  Ah well.

There are several companies all around the country that extract data from dead hard drives.

You might try the freezer trick. It sounds like an urban legend, but worked for me on a couple of hard drives that were dying. Got them both going again just long enough to copy all the data off.

Most data recovery places I know of charge corporate-level prices for data recovery (i.e. big bucks).  I might try the freezer trick if I get desperate...it sounds like a mechanical failure though, so I'm not hopeful.
