Mr. Luck begs to disagree with this thread's headline. He gives himself a "C"

What the writer of this article failed to realize is that with Stanford grade inflation, a C is more like a D.

A great article that summarizes how much Andrew Luck is doing to carry the Colts this year. He's going to be icing his arm for all of February if he keeps up this pace:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1399579-andrew-luck-midseason-review-for-colts-rising-star
A few nuggets from the article:
Quote:764Luck is on pace for a staggering 764 drop backs, which would break the NFL record held by Drew Bledsoe (757 in 1994). Even Cam Newton only had 678 drop backs in 2011, which is the rookie record.
336Attempts for Luck through eight games; the most ever by a rookie through eight games. Sam Bradford and Peyton Manning each had 292, and then Brandon Weeden has 299 this season.
350Luck has already thrown for more than 350 yards twice in his career (Green Bay, Miami). Only three times in NFL history has a rookie quarterback thrown for at least 350 yards and won the game. Luck has two of the three games (Matthew Stafford threw for 422 yards versus Cleveland in 2009).
God, I miss that guy in Cardinal and White.

Re: Andrew Luck. He's pretty good -- and in the Hall of Fame! -

The Hall of Fame has asked for and received the jersey Luck wore on Sunday as he set the NFL rookie passing record. I can only assume they're starting an Andrew Luck wing or planning to rename the entire place The Andrew Luck Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Speaking of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we went there last week as we were attempting to drive away from Sandy. This is the first exhibit that greeted me:

I look forward to the day when Luck makes two entries on such lists.
