Re: All Star Game Announcements & Recruiting - Hank 91 - 01-04-2012
Sanders has been saying for a while that he's announcing this weekend. I exchanged emails with Kyle Porter from the Pistols Firing (OSU) blog, and he said -- one person's opinion, mind you -- that OSU fans don't expect Sanders to sign with them, the idea being that following in his father's footsteps would be too daunting.

I thought about that during the Fiesta Bowl. Could you imagine? If he played a different position then it might be different, but at the same position! Every fumble, every failed 3rd and 3, every dropped pass, or missed blocking assignment to hear comments about how your Dad was near perfect and would never let X or Y or Z happen. Ugh, that would be hard.
Besides, Stanford has the better OL for a running back looking to eventually go to the NFL.

Re: All Star Game Announcements & Recruiting - FarmBoy - 01-04-2012
One stat line from the game should be enough for Sanders to make his decision.
Total Rushing Yards:
Stanford - 243
OSU - 13
But another should seal it
Rush attempts:
Stanford - 50
OSU - 15
