See the posts above from ~ 2 weeks ago for more - Green was not at all heavily recruited/offered, by us (until her decommit from Howard in December) or any other P4 school - fingers crossed on this one.
I'll repeat a question I posed earlier - does her commitment effectively preclude TL's return next season (barring an unexpected departure)?

Lepolo said long ago this is her last year. As of now we have 15 for next year. Of course one or more could leave early

Nunu is graduating this spring with her political science degree. She has said she plans to finish her college career at Stanford. No idea if Clardy is graduating early too.

I really like Kiara Green's attitude. She shows real interest in pursuing an excellent education at Stanford as well as in contributing to Stanford women's hoops. Respect to her for that. The ideal of the scholar-athlete is not yet dead.

I'll take some early momentum on the 2027 recruiting front, and it seems like she's going to be a solid pickup based on PN.
For those reading the tea leaves about the future composition of our team, Shay, Carly, Nora, Harper, and Alex have all already commented approvingly. Not sure how much of the rest of our team is active on socials during the season.

If there are only 3 girls graduating, how are they taking in 4 recruits? Do we know if Nunu is leaving since she’s graduating this year? Is Chloe or Courtney also graduating early?

According to individual stats Kennedy Umeh has not played in any games this year so I have flagged her as a redshirt this year and in future years.
Nora Ezike is listed as having played in five games, so I have not flagged her as a redshirt. Unless she was injured?
Note: Spencer Laird is mentioned as 6'3" in the local newspapers.

Bob, I thought basketball doesn’t allow a redshirt if someone has played in a game, but a player who sustains a season ending injury may receive a medical waiver if the injury occurs in the first half of the season and the player has not played in more than 30% of the games. If so, Umeh has not played at all this season, so she would be entitled to a redshirt. Peterson has played 7 games, so she is right on the edge of the 30% line for a medical waiver. Amborn and Ezike would not be eligible to count this year as a redshirt.
Maybe I’m out of date. The rules keep changing…
